About Laura – Meet The Owner
Laura is the owner of Betty Williamson. She has been a wedding planner and event designer for five years. She’s incredibly passionate about her job and loves providing people with the event of their dream. She has a natural creative flair, which she has honed over many years, and she approaches every job with her typical friendly and enthusiastic nature.
Laura’s Background
She acquired an Interior Design Degree from the National Design Academy. This has helped her enormously with event planning. It taught her the effective use of colour and how to realise the potential of any space. It’s also where she developed her sense of using nature as inspiration. From a small pebble on a beach to a multitude of colours in just one flower; Laura uses nature to create the most incredible colour schemes.
Outside of Event Planning
When she is not spending her time planning weddings and events, Laura loves family time. She is married with four children and enjoys going out for sushi and walking along the North Coast of Ireland. For Laura, there is nothing better than feeling the sun against her skin on a crisp autumn morning.
